What clients say
In their own words.

Brought in my father's automatic watch, which had stopped running completely. The assessment was thorough — Panya explained exactly what had seized and why. I was given a clear written quote before anything was touched. The watch came back running well, and I could tell the work had been done carefully. The whole process took about eight days.

I had a dive watch with seals that hadn't been touched in years. I swim most mornings and had been a bit careless about it, if I'm honest. Chan Naga did the seal service and a pressure test — and the report they sent back was more detailed than I expected. Four stars only because the turnaround was a day longer than quoted, though they did let me know in advance.

I happened to be in Phuket for a week and stopped in on the recommendation of a friend. My grandmother's watch needed attention — the crown was stiff and the glass had a crack. They assessed it on the spot, gave me an honest opinion about what was realistic to fix, and completed the basic service before I left the island. Beautifully done.

I collect vintage Longines and brought two pieces for full restoration work. Krit handled all the communication and it was excellent — regular updates, clear explanations, and no surprises on the final invoice. The movements came back in better condition than I have seen from shops in Milan. I will plan around returning here.

I have been bringing watches here for three years now — one for my husband, two of my own. The consistency is what I appreciate most. Whatever the job, the process is the same: they tell you what they found, what they propose, and what it will cost. No guessing. I recommended Chan Naga to my sister and she had the same experience.

My sports watch failed a water resistance test I had done elsewhere — they couldn't source the gaskets for the model. Chan Naga found them within four days through their supplier network. The pressure test result afterwards was well within spec. I was surprised how straightforward the whole thing was.

Case studies
Three watches, three different needs.
Case Study — Basic Diagnostic Service
An automatic watch that had stopped after fifteen years of wear.
Challenge
The client's watch had run continuously since purchase and stopped without warning. The crown had become difficult to turn and the client was concerned about damage from a fall a year earlier.
Approach
Assessment revealed a worn mainspring and dried lubrication throughout the movement — consistent with fifteen years of regular wear. The earlier fall appeared not to have caused structural damage. A full clean, re-lubrication, and new mainspring were carried out with the client's written agreement.
Result
Watch returned to regular timekeeping within ±6 seconds per day. Client collected on day nine. No additional charges arose beyond the original written quote of ฿4,500.
"I wasn't sure what to expect, honestly. But the written quote put my mind at rest, and the watch came back running better than I can remember." — S.L.
Case Study — Water Resistance Service
A dive watch used regularly but never re-sealed after purchase.
Challenge
A client had worn a dive-rated watch in the sea almost daily for three years without a seal service. He noticed slight fogging under the crystal after a swim and was concerned about internal moisture reaching the movement.
Approach
The case back and crown gaskets had degraded significantly. The crystal seal was no longer maintaining its profile. All three were replaced, the case back re-fitted, and the watch was pressure-tested to its rated depth equivalent. Fogging resolved after thorough drying of the interior.
Result
Pressure test passed at rated specification. Watch returned in four working days. Total cost ฿7,400 as quoted. Client advised on annual seal inspection intervals for Phuket conditions.
"The pressure test result gave me confidence I didn't have before. I'll be back every year from now on." — R.C.
Case Study — Full Restoration
A 1968 Swiss pocket watch movement brought in for complete restoration.
Challenge
The client had inherited a pocket watch from his grandfather, a former watchmaker. The movement had not been serviced in decades. Several wheels showed corrosion, two jewels were cracked, and the dial had lifted at one edge.
Approach
A written restoration plan was agreed before any work began. The movement was fully stripped, cleaned, and rebuilt. Period jewels were sourced from a supplier in Germany. The dial was stabilised without alteration to its aged patina, at the client's request. Total project duration was five weeks including parts transit.
Result
Movement returned to full function with consistent amplitude. Dial patina retained as requested. Client received a detailed restoration record. Total cost ฿14,700 — unchanged from the original written plan.
"It mattered to me that the watch still looked like itself — just working again. That's exactly what I got." — M.T.
